Mullarkey Tours is the brain child of well known Northland business man Ken Mullarkey.  Ken along with his wife Jenny were keen to provide interesting and different tours with an exceptional level of service to tourists and visitors in the Bay of Islands. As a locally  owned company  we are passionate about our area and determined that visitors have the best experience possible. Ken is als the owner Far North Rentals, a well respected regional car hire company.

All our drivers and guides reside in the local area and are equally passionate about showing visitors the best that this amazing region has to offer.
The Bay of Islands is one of the most picturesque and popular holiday sites in New Zealand, combining great outdoor experiences with some of New Zealand’s most significant historic sites. It was here in 1840 at Waitangi that the British Government signed a treaty with the indigenous Maori people which gave birth to the nation.
This area is steeped in New Zealand’s early history and the role Maori culture played in the development of the country.
